Welcome and thank you for visiting my web page.
My family settled in Burlington in the summer of 1963 when Burlington was quite different than it is today . My parents purchased a brand new cape style home with an unfinished 2nd floor for $18,000. As the family grew, my Dad added bedrooms to the second floor of the house. My parents both worked very hard, often taking second jobs , to ensure that all 6 children were well cared for. This scenario was not unique as most households in the neighborhood were experiencing similar growing pains.
As I progressed through the school system, I had the good fortune to attend 3 brand new schools! The first was Fox Hill, originally named The Snowflake, then Francis Wyman Junior High and finally the new Burlington High. It was during high school that I met my wife Lisa (Roberto) and soon after graduation we began our life together.
Lisa and I have 3 children; Nicole, Robert and Michael. They also attended Burlington schools and participated in many activities and athletic programs over the years. We are very proud of our children and their accomplishments as they now move on to careers and lives and families of their own.
Although I did not realize it at the time, I was blessed to have grown up in Burlington. The huge influx of new residents put an enormous strain on the community. The hard working men and women of Burlington made certain that we had schools, playgrounds, ball fields, paved roads, policemen, firemen and even a new reservoir. I thank my parents and all the parents who took care of us and provided for us and for making Burlington the jewel that it is today.
I have been active in community service and public service for 30 years, having served as a Firefighter and as an elected official. I have been involved in numerous athletic and community organizations and committees. I will continue to do my best to address the needs and concerns of all the residents in a fair and equitable manner.
